AI agents built around your business process

An AI agent is useful when a process needs to interpret information and choose a next step. Flow Labs designs agent workflows around a defined business task, with clear limits on what the system can read, propose and execute. Our Toronto-based agency serves businesses in Canada and the United States.

Match the task to the right level of autonomy

A support assistant might classify a request and suggest an answer from approved material. An inquiry assistant might turn a message into a structured brief for a sales conversation. These are potential workflows, not deployed client results. We begin with the task and available evidence rather than assuming an autonomous agent is the answer.

Keep consequential actions under control

A useful design separates drafting from sending, recommending from approving, and reading from changing records. We define permissions and human review points before connecting tools. Actions involving payments, commitments or sensitive records need explicit handling appropriate to the business process.

Evaluate behaviour on realistic examples

An agent should be tested on ordinary requests, incomplete information and unexpected input. We discuss evaluation examples, acceptable errors, escalation rules and how the system should respond when it cannot answer reliably. A polished demonstration does not establish production reliability, so a pilot needs observable success and failure conditions.

Plan integrations, data access and ongoing cost

The implementation depends on the tools you use, API availability, access rights and the information the agent needs. Model usage, external services and maintenance can create recurring costs. We scope those dependencies with you and avoid giving an agent access that the task does not need.

See the workflow before commissioning it

The Flow Playground on our homepage demonstrates inquiry routing, invoice processing and support triage with sample data. It shows the steps and the human handoff without making live AI calls or sending messages. Use it as a starting point to discuss a workflow in your own business.

Questions before you start

Is an AI agent the same as a chatbot?

A chatbot is an interface for conversation. An agent workflow can also select tools or propose actions. The important distinction is what it is allowed to do and how its work is checked.

Will an agent replace our staff?

We scope tasks and handoffs rather than promise staff replacement. A useful starting point is assisting people with information gathering, classification or drafts while keeping accountable decisions with your team.

Can you connect an agent to our existing software?

We assess available APIs, permissions and data restrictions before agreeing on an integration. Compatibility and access need to be verified for the specific tools involved.
